(1)real,actual,ture,genuine這組形容詞的一般含義是「真的」或「真實的」。除genuine外，其它3個詞一般都可以互換使用，但是它們有細微的差異。
(2)real（名詞為 reality）可以表示相對於「假的」的「真的」，即某物外表與其實質之間的一致性。此外，real 所表示的「真實的」正好與「現象的」相對。 something real（實在的東西）是可以摸得到的，但something phenomenal （現象的東西）是摸不到的，而只能感知。因此，real 所表示的「真實的」實際上指的是「客觀存在」，同根名詞 reality 為「現實」的意思
