(1)real,actual,ture,genuine這組形容詞的一般含義是「真的」或「真實的」。除genuine外,其它3個詞一般都可以互換使用,但是它們有細微的差異。

(2)real(名詞為 reality)可以表示相對於「假的」的「真的」,即某物外表與其實質之間的一致性。此外,real 所表示的「真實的」正好與「現象的」相對。 something real(實在的東西)是可以摸得到的,但something phenomenal (現象的東西)是摸不到的,而只能感知。因此,real 所表示的「真實的」實際上指的是「客觀存在」,同根名詞 reality 為「現實」的意思
