Unit 11 Hurricane
1 . Is there anything the matter?出了什麼事嗎？
2 . So we had to find another way back.因此我們得另找路回來。
3 . Look at your clothes! Where have you been?瞧你們的衣服！你們去哪兒了？
4 . There's no need to be worried. We're both fine.沒有必要嘛。我們兩個都挺好。
5 . So then what happened?後來怎麼樣？
6 . My shoe has been pressing against my foot, so it hurts a bit.我的鞋一直擠著腳，所以腳有點疼。
7 . We've been anxious about you. We were expecting you back much earlier.我們都為你們著急呢。都盼著你們早點兒回來。
8 . We were getting very worried.我們都非常擔心呢。
9 . That's why we were getting anxious about you.所以我們才為你們擔心。
10 . What's the matter with your foot, Jane?珍妮，你的腳怎麼了？
11 . Fortunately, we could see where we were going。幸好我們能辨認我們要走的方向。
12 . Yes. We've just heard a warning on the radio that a hurricane is likely to come.是的，我們剛從廣播裡聽到一則氣象警報，說是一場颶風可能要到來。
13 . The bridge has been washed away by the floods.橋已經被洪水沖走了。
14 . We couldn't get across the river.我們過不了河。
15 . Good heavens! There you are!哎呀！你們才回來！
16 . That's how we got so wet and dirty.這就是我們怎麼弄得這樣又濕又髒的原因了。
17 . We had to climb over some rocks and it started to rain.我們不得不爬過一些岩石，這時開始下起雨。
18 . Then we had to walk across some very wet ground.然後，我們還得走過一些潮濕的地面。
19 . It was getting very windy in the hills.山上還刮起了大風。
20 . It just took us a long time to get over the rocks.我們花了很長時間才爬過岩石。
